For launch, begin with the announced MH1029 redemption code, which awards 200 Rutacoin and 20,000 Zenny through the in-game event center after the service opens. A later announced Kushala Daora challenge runs November 13–26, UTC, with Rutacoin among its point rewards; no currency total was stated in the preview. These are specific opportunities, rather than proof of a fixed daily farming rate.
As of October 28, 2026, the international release is still in its pre-launch window. No unlimited Rutacoin loop or guaranteed daily income has been established. Separate the announced code and time-limited challenge from the Barim event's chance-based currency prize, and keep finite rewards out of any recurring estimate. Contracts, monster materials, Zenny, and EXP also serve different purposes; a reward belongs in your Rutacoin balance only when it is identified as that currency.
Classify every Rutacoin source on two axes
A reliable classification needs two independent answers. First, is the Rutacoin guaranteed after a stated condition, or merely one possible result? Second, is the source finite, or does the same Rutacoin reward return after a verified reset? A reward can be guaranteed but finite, or repeatable but chance-based, so neither axis can replace the other.
| Reward class | What it establishes | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Guaranteed and finite | A known amount after a one-time milestone, claim, or event condition | Add it to current savings once eligibility and delivery are confirmed |
| Guaranteed and repeatable | A known amount returns with the activity after a verified reset | Include only the cycles the current interface actually supports |
| Chance-based and finite | A limited attempt may produce Rutacoin | Keep it outside the minimum you expect to receive |
| Chance-based and repeatable | Repeated attempts exist, but Rutacoin is not assured per attempt | Track observed results, never present them as guaranteed income |
“Finite” is not a warning to skip a reward. It means the source cannot be multiplied across future days or weeks. Story milestones, launch distributions, exploration completion, and limited event objectives may be valuable, yet their total describes available savings rather than a farming rate.
“Repeatable” requires more than an activity name. A daily activity might repeat while its Rutacoin is a first-clear bonus, and a recurring event draw might continue without ever guaranteeing that result. Promote a source to guaranteed repeatable income only when the renewed activity again displays the same guaranteed Rutacoin condition.
Start with the announced reward opportunities
| Opportunity | Announced Rutacoin result | Condition and limit |
|---|---|---|
| MH1029 code | 200 Rutacoin, alongside 20,000 Zenny | Enter the code in the in-game event center after launch; no expiry was specified in the preview |
| Kushala Daora challenge, November 13–26 UTC | Rutacoin is among the point rewards; an amount was not stated | Complete the challenge conditions and reach the applicable reward milestones during this limited event |
| Buddy Squad Investigation Notes draw | Rutacoin ×50 has a 1% draw probability | A chance result, with that Rutacoin prize limited to once per account |
Claim the code through the game's event center rather than treating the webpage investigation draw as its redemption page. The two mechanisms have different requirements: one is an announced code reward, while the other requires event attempts and can produce a different prize. An absent or rejected claim is a reason to check the applicable client and current event notice, rather than count the currency as already owned.
The Kushala challenge offers a later source to investigate once that event becomes available. Its announced schedule and reward categories do not establish how much Rutacoin every player will earn, whether every point milestone contains currency, or whether the same rewards can be claimed repeatedly. Plan around the actual milestone table when it appears; do not multiply an unspecified event reward into daily income.
Separate Rutacoin, Contracts, and progression rewards
The launch preview distinguishes Standard Contracts from Featured Contracts. Rotating Recruitment uses Standard Contracts and boosts a Standard Recruitment SSR; the first Featured Recruitment uses Featured Contracts for Midori. These recruitment resources and Rutacoin should keep separate balances. Do not assume a Contract accepted by one recruitment category works on another.

The S0 announcement labels Rutacoin and both Contracts separately. The 400-plus recruitment-item total covers the season, rather than one login grant.
Do not translate a Contract into Rutacoin using a beta price or assumed exchange. A Contract already usable on the recruitment you want may preserve Rutacoin; one tied to another category may not help that target at all. Before confirming, read the selected recruitment’s accepted currency, current pool, and attached rules as one package.
Recruitment currency is also different from the rewards that strengthen a hunter. Monster materials feed weapon and armor crafting, equipment improves hunt performance, and EXP advances the progression system it names. Zenny and upgrade materials have their own uses. An activity can be excellent for progression without being a Rutacoin source, so label the actual result instead of calling every useful reward “currency farming.”
This distinction also prevents two forms of double counting. A Contract received directly is one recruitment resource, not Rutacoin income plus a Contract. A Rutacoin balance spent on recruitment is a currency outflow, not a second reward merely because the recruitment produced an Adventurer or Buddy.
Why free hunting does not prove unlimited Rutacoin
CBT3 hunting reports distinguish ordinary open-world hunting from activities that use Energy for progression rewards, and they also describe special activities with separate permit rules. That evidence rejects the blanket claim that every hunt consumes the same stamina resource. It does not establish that ordinary hunting pays Rutacoin.
A free hunt can still be repeatable in a meaningful way: it can provide combat practice and monster materials used to craft equipment. Those outcomes support the hunting-and-crafting loop. Unless the current reward display also lists Rutacoin, however, they establish a materials route rather than a recruitment-currency route.
Energy and reward type answer different questions. “Can I repeat the action?” concerns access to the activity. “What does completion award?” concerns output. An activity with no Energy cost can yield zero Rutacoin, while an Energy-limited activity could award another progression resource. Removing a participation limit never proves a particular reward exists.
The same logic applies to exploration. A large world with repeatable monster encounters does not make every chest, objective, or point of interest renewable. Treat each completion reward as finite unless its own interface shows that both the objective and its Rutacoin reward return.
Use the Barim investigation as a finite chance example
The official Barim investigation activity gives a concrete example of why reward labels matter. Its draw includes a 1% chance of Rutacoin x50. That is one possible draw outcome, not a guaranteed award for participating, completing a map, or logging in.
The 1% figure belongs only to that event draw. It is not a recruitment rate, a character drop rate, or proof that later events use the same probability. Even a player who receives the Rutacoin outcome cannot convert one success into an expected guaranteed total.
The Rutacoin draw prize can be received only once per account. The activity itself is time-limited, ending November 30, 2026 at 14:59 UTC. Its daily login quest resets at 15:00 UTC, and missed daily event logins cannot be reclaimed or carried forward. A reset can create another event action without changing a chance reward into a guarantee.
Completing all map investigations has a separate guaranteed reward set: Barim, Zenny x2,000, Dewberry x5, and Verdant Dew x5. Barim is an SR Buddy. None of those guaranteed completion rewards should be relabeled as Rutacoin, and Barim’s rarity does not describe the event draw’s currency probability.
Classify Rutacoin x50 as a finite, chance-based event result and budget zero guaranteed Rutacoin from it. Treat the guaranteed completion set on its own terms. Reward delivery requires a character created after launch and the correct server and account selected on the event webpage, with delivery through the in-game mailbox.
Reduce early recruitment pressure with the Fated Adventurer
The Fated Adventurer is the customizable protagonist rather than a named recruit. This character can switch weapons, while named Adventurers have fixed weapons and distinct mechanics. That structure gives you a way to test combat preferences before Rutacoin needs to enter the decision.
When a weapon becomes available to your Fated Adventurer, try its basic range, speed, guarding, and attack commitment before using recruitment currency to pursue a named specialist. This tests a playstyle without assuming every weapon is unlocked immediately.

Early-development Fated Adventurer selection example. The five visible weapon choices are not the complete launch weapon roster.
Equipment crafting and Adventurer recruitment are separate progression paths, not substitutes for one another. If a hunt blocks progress because equipment is weak, the relevant response may be monster-material farming and crafting rather than spending recruitment currency.
Named Adventurers can still matter because their unique skills and fixed weapon identities are not reproduced merely by equipping the same weapon on the protagonist. The practical order is to learn a weapon with the flexible character, identify the party function or unique mechanic you actually want, and then judge whether a live recruitment offers it under acceptable rules.
Use three early decisions to lower unnecessary pressure:
- Test several available weapons before choosing where to concentrate equipment materials.
- Improve crafted gear when hunt performance creates a concrete need, rather than recruiting to solve every obstacle.
- Evaluate the Adventurers and Contracts already available to the account before assigning Rutacoin to a target.
This approach does not claim the Fated Adventurer replaces every recruit. It separates a free, flexible foundation from optional roster expansion, allowing a recruitment decision to follow a specific need instead of an assumed launch-day requirement.
Keep season recruitment items out of a currency rate
The official S0 rewards announcement says that the first season offers enough recruitment items for more than 400 recruits in total. That is not an announcement of 400 Rutacoins, 400 Featured Contracts, a first-login mailbox deposit, or a monthly renewable allowance.
The same announcement names event missions for SSR Adventurers Luka and Pyro and SSR Buddy Kojiro. Their availability matters when deciding whether you need to spend recruitment currency immediately, but receiving a character or Buddy is not itself Rutacoin income. Count the actual items you claim and read their stated use, instead of converting a season-wide promotional total into a currency balance.
Make the first Rutacoin spending decision
Before spending Rutacoin, read the live recruitment category, accepted currency, available results, guarantee language, and any rule for progress when the recruitment changes. CBT3 reports described several banner structures and numerical guarantees, but those values do not establish the international launch rules.
If a relevant Contract can be used on the chosen recruitment, decide with that Contract balance visible rather than merging it into Rutacoin. If the desired result, guarantee, or carry-over treatment is unclear, waiting protects a finite premium balance without assuming that a particular future banner will appear.
The final rule is narrow: spend against a verified recruitment target, not against an invented daily income. Budget announced one-time rewards as finite savings, and leave chance prizes outside the minimum available balance. A recurring income estimate needs its own verified reward and reset conditions.
