Choose the client assigned to your real service region, then make sure every regular hunting partner uses the same publisher client and the same in-game server region before anyone creates a main character. The Level Infinite route is the international service identified for North America, Japan, and Europe. Garena publishes the Southeast Asian route. These are different distribution paths, so the safe planning rule is to treat their accounts, characters, purchases, friend lists, and matchmaking as separate unless an official in-game notice explicitly says otherwise.
This guide reflects the October 28, 2026 pre-launch state. The Level Infinite announcement schedules North America, Japan, and Europe servers for October 28 at 22:00 UTC, which is October 29 in East Asia. That schedule does not establish a Garena opening hour, and a finished pre-download does not prove that either service is already open.
What Global and Garena actually change
Global and Garena describe the same mobile hunting game, but they identify different publishers, store listings, package routes, support ownership, and service regions. That operational split matters more than small wording differences on the store pages.
| Check | Level Infinite global route | Garena route | Player decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| Publisher shown on Google Play | Level Infinite | Garena Online Private Limited | The publisher name should match the official route for your region. |
| Android package on the current listings | com.tencent.mhadv | com.garena.game.mho | Treat a package mismatch as a different client, not a cosmetic store variation. |
| Confirmed service scope | The launch notice names North America, Japan, and Europe. | Garena is the Southeast Asian publisher. | Start from the official portal serving your store region. |
| Confirmed launch timing | October 28, 2026 at 22:00 UTC for the three named server regions. | No separate Garena opening hour is established here. | Do not copy the global hour onto Garena. |
| Regional data rule | Data is independent and cannot be transferred between regions in the named global service context. | A Global-to-Garena transfer rule is not independently confirmed. | Do not create progress while expecting a later move. |
| Global-to-Garena co-op | Not confirmed. | Not confirmed. | Put a planned group on one publisher route and one visible server region. |
The two clients can look similar because both store descriptions present Aesoland, original Adventurers, Buddies, Radiant Monsters, mobile controls, and four-player hunting. Shared features do not establish a shared database. A four-player option only proves that a client supports a party of four; it does not prove that one publisher can invite accounts from the other publisher.

The Global Google Play listing names Level Infinite as publisher.
Choose the correct client before downloading
Use a fixed verification sequence instead of choosing whichever search result appears first.
- Identify your normal store region. Check the country or region attached to the Apple ID or Google account you actually use for installs and payments. Your physical location alone may not explain which listing is available.
- Open the official regional portal first. Use the portal's own App Store or Google Play button. This reduces the chance of landing on a test build, a cloned APK, or the other publisher's listing.
- Verify the publisher on the store page. The global Google Play listing names Level Infinite. The Garena listing names Garena Online Private Limited.
- Verify the Android package when possible. The listed global package is com.tencent.mhadv, while the Garena package is com.garena.game.mho. This is a strong client identity check when two icons or titles look alike.
- Confirm the same route with your party. Compare publisher, store listing, and the server region shown in the client. Do this before character creation, not after one player has already progressed.
- Keep updates on the same store account. Returning to the original store route makes it easier to recognize whether an update belongs to the installed client.
Do not use a VPN, third-party APK site, or a changed store region as proof that an account is officially eligible for a service. Network routing can change where traffic appears to come from, but it does not establish supported login, payment, customer support, matchmaking, or account migration.
Plan a hunting group before creating characters
The highest-cost mistake is not downloading twice. It is splitting a regular group after characters, rewards, or purchases have been attached to different services.
Ask every member to report four visible facts:
- the publisher named on the store listing;
- the store country or region used for the install;
- the exact server region shown by the game;
- the account method they intend to keep using.
Then compare the answers. A group is ready only when the publisher route and in-game server region match. Similar server names, the same language, or the same game version number are not enough to prove compatibility.
The global notice also says that server data is independent and cannot be transferred between regions. Within its North America, Japan, and Europe context, that makes the initial regional choice consequential even before the Global-versus-Garena question is considered. Pick the supported region the group can consistently use; do not choose a temporary region merely because one person finished downloading there first.
If a group spans Southeast Asia and one of the named global regions, there is no supported basis here for promising cross-publisher invitations. The practical options are to wait for an explicit compatibility statement or have everyone use the same officially supported service route. Do not ask one member to spend or build a main character as a cross-play experiment.
What account and progress claims remain unconfirmed
Several separate questions are often collapsed into one phrase such as cross-save. Keep them separate because each would require its own confirmation.
- A shared login that works across Level Infinite and Garena.
- Character migration from Global to Garena or from Garena to Global.
- Shared purchases, premium currency, mail, or pre-registration rewards.
- A combined friend list or cross-publisher matchmaking pool.
- Cross-publisher guild membership or invitations.
- A common reset schedule, event calendar, or customer-support process.
- A Garena opening time derived from the Level Infinite launch notice.
An unknown feature is not the same as a disabled feature, but it is also not safe enough to plan around. Until a current in-game announcement states the rule, behave as if progress will remain where it was created. That decision avoids relying on a transfer that may never be offered.
Verify the store listing on Android and iOS
Android checks
On Android, use both the publisher name and package identifier. The global listing pairs Level Infinite with com.tencent.mhadv. The Garena listing pairs Garena Online Private Limited with com.garena.game.mho. If the title and icon look correct but either identity field points to the other route, stop before logging in.
A search result can surface a store page that is unavailable for your account region. That does not prove the game is down, and it does not make an unofficial APK the correct substitute. Return to the regional publisher portal and follow its Google Play button.
iOS checks
On iOS, begin with the official regional portal and inspect the developer or publisher information on the App Store page. Also confirm which Apple ID country or region is active. A listing found through a web search may exist but still be unavailable to the account used on the device.
Changing the Apple ID region should not be the first fix. It can affect the wider store account, while still providing no assurance about game login, payment support, server access, or future updates. If the correct official portal does not offer an install for the active region, treat that as a regional availability issue to verify rather than a reason to improvise.

The Garena listing uses the same game title but names Garena Online Private Limited; compare publisher identity before installing.
Region-specific decisions
| Player situation | Best supported action | What not to assume |
|---|---|---|
| You normally use a Southeast Asian store | Begin with the Garena portal and confirm the Garena publisher listing. | Do not assume the Level Infinite package is the local replacement. |
| You are in North America, Japan, or Europe | Begin with the Level Infinite portal and select the appropriate named service region. | Do not assume progress can later move to another region. |
| Your regular party uses one of those global regions | Match the exact publisher client and server region used by the group. | Do not rely on language or version number as proof of the same backend. |
| Your group is split between Global and Garena regions | Pause main-character spending until an explicit cross-publisher rule appears. | Do not treat four-player co-op advertising as cross-play confirmation. |
| You are in mainland China | Wait for the official mainland route. The mainland release is planned from 2027 onward; a WeGame client is in development without a confirmed date. | Do not treat the Garena or international mobile client as the mainland PC release. |
| You travel or move after launch | Keep a record of the original publisher, account, and server, then check current official support before changing anything. | Do not assume a new physical location transfers an existing character. |
The mainland service is a third route, not another name for Global or Garena. Development of a mainland WeGame client also does not establish a current international PC version, a Steam version, or compatibility with an existing mobile character.
Do the versions have different gameplay
The available publisher listings describe the same core product. Both identify Monster Hunter Outlanders as a CAPCOM-licensed mobile hunting game developed by TiMi Studio Group. Both advertise solo exploration and four-player squads. Both list the same eight weapon types: Great Sword, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Lance, Charge Blade, Heavy Bowgun, and Bow.
Those shared descriptions are useful for confirming that you found the right game. They do not prove that every launch event, promotion, store offer, account option, reset time, or content rollout is synchronized. Regional pre-registration pages can also present publisher-specific rewards or account steps. Read the notices inside your chosen client instead of importing a reward deadline or opening hour from another publisher.
For the same reason, do not select a client based on claims that one route has better rates, earlier characters, or different balance unless a current notice for both services provides a direct comparison. Pre-launch observations and closed-beta details are not reliable enough to make that decision.
Fix common client and party problems
You installed the other publisher's client
Stop before creating a main character or making a purchase. Reopen the official portal for your normal region, verify its store publisher, and compare the Android package if applicable. Installing the intended client may produce a separate app or login environment; do not expect the first installation's data to appear automatically.
You already created a character on the wrong route
Record the publisher, account method, server region, character identifier, and any purchase receipt. Ask the support channel attached to that publisher whether any remedy exists. Do not delete the account, spend more, or promise yourself a transfer before receiving a current answer. The confirmed global rule already warns that regional data is independent.
A friend does not appear in search or invitations
Compare the client publisher first, then the package or App Store listing, then the in-game server region. After those match, compare the exact account identifiers and use the client-specific support route if the problem remains. Repeatedly changing network routes cannot repair a publisher or server mismatch.
The game is downloaded but access is unavailable
Pre-download only means that client resources can be installed. For the named global servers, wait for the scheduled opening and a current server notice. For Garena, follow Garena's own announcement rather than reusing the Level Infinite hour. Installation size, a visible login screen, or a downloaded update does not establish live access.
